helldiver challenge: Lambda

Get ready for your next shift in The Mines. The Howler Project's Helldiver Challenge returns September 1st 2024.

For 30 days, we will honor the Reds of Mars in a contest to earn The Laurel.

Each day we will have 13 minutes to collect as much Helium- 3 as possible.

Now, I dunno about you, but I don't have any clawDrills lying around. Instead, we get to use a jump rope. For each skip, we will earn 1 kilo of Helium- 3.

As we know, momentum is everything to a Helldiver. For every missed skip, our HeadTalk spots a gas pocket. We get out and scan it by hand by performing the required exercise; in the case of Lambda, that would mean burpees.

For every missed skip, perform +1 Burpee.

To clarify, the first time the rope stops, perform 1 burpee. The next time the rope stops, perform 2 burpees, and so on…

*Helldiver tip:

I use a piece of chalk to track my skips and rounds. On one side of my yoga mat, I'll write the number of skips per round and at the top of my mat, I'll write the round/number of burpees.

We'll log our totals each day and add them to the leaderboard.

Each participant who finishes the monthly challenge will earn an exclusive enamel pin and the title of Helldiver of Lykos.

The top 1% of participants will win the Laurel.
